xDSL Service If you have high-speed Internet or video service through your phone company, then it is likely to be using xDSL technology. With the use of filters, it is usually fairly simple to hook up the service. The service provider will often setup everything for you if desired, but they might be limited to connecting only one computer or installing in certain locations. If you require a custom setup or home networking, then you can order the service with the self-install option and hire Diversified Networking Solutions to do the install for you. An ideal setup for xDSL service is to filter the service outside and have a dedicated line to the special circuit (ie ADSL service) If you have numerous devices connected to your phone lines such as satellite receivers, fax machines, answering devices, multiple phones, etc. then you can need many filters and may still have problems with service. Using a dedicated line may even give you faster speeds than you had before because of better line quality. Your service may work fine for a while and then sporadically start cutting out. Temperature or changes in the service-provider maintained lines may be the culprit. A dedicate line can usually fix both of these problems by increasing the signal quality. If you are having trouble with your xDSL service or need your devices relocated please contact Diversified Networking Solutions to discuss the matter with you and give you an estimate. |
